About EDM Source

Source-backed context for electronic music discovery

EDM Source tracks the parts of electronic music that fans actually research: news, artist profiles, event listings, venue context, labels, genres, releases, videos, and the source data behind each signal.

Use it to move from a headline to the artist behind it, from an event to the room hosting it, or from a genre trail to the labels and releases shaping the sound.

Our Mission

Our mission is to turn scattered music data into readable context. We combine editorial judgment with sources such as EDMTrain, MusicBrainz, Discogs, YouTube, Fanart, TheAudioDB, Wikipedia, and Supabase-backed editorial records so readers can see how artists, events, venues, labels, and genres connect.

Publisher Information

EDM Source is an independent digital publication focused on electronic music discovery and research. We separate editorial context, source-backed metadata, advertising, and affiliate relationships so readers can understand what they are looking at and where it came from.

Editorial Policy & Ethics

EDM Source follows editorial rules designed to make source-backed music coverage easier to trust:

  • Accuracy & Corrections: We verify names, dates, locations, and source links where possible. Factual errors are corrected with a clear editor's note when the correction changes the record.
  • Independence: Our editorial team maintains strict independence. We do not accept payment in exchange for favorable coverage.
  • Clear Disclosures: Sponsored content, advertisements, and affiliate links are labeled so they do not blur into independent editorial coverage.
  • Authoritative Sourcing: We prefer primary sources, official statements, reputable databases, and clearly attributed industry reporting.
