Weaving found sounds and assorted broken instruments with flickering rhythms and intricate melodies, Halogen’s music can be best described as organic electronica. UK based producer Adam Janota-Bzowski draws from a diverse range of influences to create a blend of styles that encompasses post-rock, glitch, IDM, jazz and more recently, hip-hop.
Currently studying a Digital Music and Sound Art course at Brighton University he releases material through his own imprint; Maternity and Blood Tribe Records, co run with Zak Norman (Whipperslacker) and David Rzepa (Sick Rebel). (via idmf label)
