Tokyo has a new festival on its calendar. 81 Music Festival will make its debut on June 27, 2026, at TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO in Odaiba, bringing together pop, hip-hop, and electronic acts for a cross-genre indoor event. The first lineup includes The Kid LAROI, R3HAB, MRAK, John Martin, VINI VICI B2B MR. BLACK, Night Tempo, Alan Shirahama, 3LI¥EN, and MARVY.
Cross-Genre Lineup Anchored by Pop and Electronic Acts
The debut edition positions itself between mainstream live music and electronic festival culture. The Kid LAROI brings pop and hip-hop appeal through tracks including his Justin Bieber collaboration STAY, while R3HAB will present a world premiere showcase alongside his mainstage electronic set. MRAK makes his Japan debut with a melodic techno performance, contrasting with the psytrance energy of VINI VICI B2B MR. BLACK.
John Martin adds live vocal performance through his work on tracks such as Don't You Worry Child and Reload. Night Tempo, Alan Shirahama, 3LI¥EN, and MARVY represent Japanese music culture, spanning city pop, club music, and crossover performance.
Festival Concept Rooted in Japan's International Identity
The festival takes its name from Japan's international dialing code, 81. The debut edition carries the theme "From CODE to CORE," framing music as a connection between Japan and international audiences. The choice of TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO in Odaiba supports large-scale production in an indoor venue with access from central Tokyo and Haneda Airport.
The event runs from 12:00 PM to 9:30 PM, following a full-day festival format. Tickets are on sale now through the festival's official website in three categories: PLATINUM and GOLD standing options, plus GA seated tickets. GA tickets allow entry for attendees under 18 with specific conditions in place.
