Armin van Buuren has confirmed that A State of Trance will host its first indoor UK festival at Drumsheds on Saturday, November 14, 2026. The announcement came via a teaser on van Buuren's Instagram, showing the trance artist walking through one of the venue's industrial corridors before revealing the date.
A Warehouse Built for Trance
The North London venue, housed inside a former IKEA warehouse industrial complex, has quickly become one of Europe's most talked-about electronic music spaces. Drumsheds is known for its gigantic multi-room layout, warehouse aesthetic, immersive lighting production, and enormous crowd capacity. Since opening, it has hosted large-scale shows from brands including Afterlife, Elrow, and Hydra.
That scale suits ASOT's signature production style: massive LED walls, cinematic intros, lasers, and extended sets from top-tier trance artists. The venue's towering industrial interiors create room for synchronized lasers, pyrotechnics, and immersive stage design.
25 Years of ASOT
What began in 2001 as a weekly radio show hosted by van Buuren has grown into one of electronic music's most important global movements. Over the last 25 years, A State of Trance expanded beyond radio into worldwide festivals and destination events across Utrecht, Rotterdam, Miami, Ibiza, Dubai, and beyond.
The annual ASOT celebrations became known for marathon sets, exclusive IDs, and emotional singalongs shared by fans from around the globe. For many dance music fans, attending ASOT has become a rite of passage within trance culture.
What to Expect
While the full lineup has not yet been revealed, fans can expect a stacked roster of trance and progressive DJs alongside van Buuren. ASOT events typically feature a mix of uplifting trance, progressive sounds, melodic techno crossover acts, and special back-to-back performances designed specifically for the occasion.
Pre-sale access for A State of Trance London opens Tuesday, June 9 at 10:00 AM. Fans are encouraged to register early for ticket access.
