Above & Beyond have released 'Nights Like This' on Anjunabeats, offering studio versions of a track that has been a tour staple since May. The trio debuted the single during their sunrise set at EDC Las Vegas before road-testing it at Silverworks Island in London and the Gorge Amphitheatre during the Group Therapy 700 celebrations.
Progressive Build and Trance Breakdown
The track opens with a dark, propulsive rhythm before reaching the central breakdown, where the production pivots sharply back toward classic progressive trance. Synths shimmer atop a palpitating bassline as the group builds the tension, flexing the sort of suspenseful, crescendoing beat that fans crave.
New Year's Eve at 1015 Folsom
Above & Beyond will close the year by headlining the 40th anniversary of San Francisco's 1015 Folsom on New Year's Eve. According to a press release, the intimate performance honors the vision of late founder Ira Sandler, who regarded the trio's 2009 appearance as a benchmark moment for the Bay Area venue.
'Nights Like This' is available now in both radio and extended mixes on streaming platforms.
