New Speakers Join 30th Anniversary Conference

Amsterdam Dance Event has confirmed a fresh wave of speakers for its ADE Pro conference program, set to run October 21–25, 2026. The latest additions include Mochakk, Solarce Brothers, Josh Baker, SPFDJ, Paul Hartnoll of Orbital, Gideon Berger, Pedro Winter (Busy P), and Sarah Williams.

The new names build on earlier announcements, including Jean-Michel Jarre as Guest of Honour and the first confirmed speakers Mosimann, Novah, and LYZZA. The expanding lineup is structured around three central themes: Market Consolidation and the Future of Independence, Rebuilding Our Relationship With (Big) Tech, and Collective Action.

Regional Focus and Artist Entrepreneurship

Brazilian artists Mochakk and Solarce Brothers join as part of ADE Pro's dedicated regional focus on Brazil, one of three spotlight regions for this edition alongside MENA and Sub-Saharan Africa. Josh Baker slots into the 'Artist as Entrepreneur' panel, a conversation around how artists are building labels, festivals, educational platforms, and broader businesses in parallel with their creative output. SPFDJ, who appeared at ADE Lab in 2025, steps up to the Pro program this year, while Pegassi and duo Mathame weigh in on technology and creativity.

Independent Music and Sampling Ethics

Ed Banger founder Pedro Winter (Busy P) and Because Music founder Emmanuel de Buretel will reflect on two decades of working together, examining how their partnership shaped a significant corner of independent music culture and what it signals for the road ahead.

Paul Hartnoll of Orbital joins a session titled 'The Ethics of the Sample: Collaboration, Consent and Credit Across Cultures', timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of Orbital's album In Sides. Gideon Berger, Sarah Williams, and Matt Black round out the panel 'The State of Emergency: Music Leaders at the Forefront of Change', focused on how music communities can mobilise around solidarity and social action.

ADE Pro runs across the full five days of Amsterdam Dance Event in Amsterdam. Access to the conference and networking program requires an ADE Pro Pass, currently available at Early Bird pricing. More speakers and sessions are set to be announced in the coming months.
