Ae:ther Returns with 'X Is For Lovers' on X Recordings

Ae:ther has released a new single, "X Is For Lovers," through X Recordings, the freshly launched label from Adriatique. The melodic track arrives alongside X Files: 001, the imprint's debut EP, which features the Rome-born, Berlin-based producer prominently.

A Growing Partnership with Adriatique

The collaboration between Ae:ther and Adriatique dates back to 2022, when the artists joined forces for a remix of "Orbit" by Yellowitz and Nuage. That early partnership has now evolved into a more formal relationship with X Recordings, adding to Ae:ther's existing ties with labels including Crosstown Rebels, Afterlife, and Siamese.

Support from Lane 8, Paul van Dyk, and More

Ae:ther's work has gained traction across the melodic house and techno circuit in 2026. Lane 8 included "Pangea," his collaboration with Rinzen, in the Summer 2026 Mixtape. Paul van Dyk played "Roar," a track made with VICIUS, during VONYC Sessions. Meanwhile, Eelke Kleijn and Nora En Pure featured "Faraway" with Momery during a performance at Woodstock '69.

The producer also released a remix of Jan Blomqvist's "Muted Mind" earlier this year. "X Is For Lovers" is now available as part of the X Files: 001 release.
