TL;DR

Alison Wonderland has released "RESCUE U," a collaboration with WINK and her first independent single in 15 years. The track arrives via her own FMU Records imprint and marks a return to creative independence for the Australian producer, who debuted the song at EDC Las Vegas earlier this year.

A New Chapter for FMU Records

Alison Wonderland and WINK have released "RESCUE U," the Australian producer's first independent single in 15 years. The track arrives via Wonderland's own FMU Records imprint, marking a significant shift for an artist whose career has spanned nearly two decades of festival headlining slots and era-defining releases.

The Track

"RESCUE U" opens with Wonderland's raw vocals before building into a synth-soaked trap drop with distorted bass. The collaboration debuted during her set on the cosmicMEADOW stage at EDC Las Vegas earlier this year and has been a fixture in her recent GHOST WORLD tour sets.

Wonderland described the song as deeply personal. "It's my favorite song I've written, and I love how nostalgic it feels," she said in a statement. "When I close my eyes, it just brings me back to my childhood for some reason. And I think WINK brings such a freshness to what I created."

The Collaboration

WINK, the fast-rising bass music producer, said working with Wonderland felt effortless. "'RESCUE U' was instantly one of my all-time favorite songs I've ever worked on," he said. "Alex is a close friend and mentor so working together felt super natural."

The release coincides with Wonderland celebrating her 40th birthday. "RESCUE U" is available now on streaming platforms.
