TL;DR

Apple Music has launched Club Mix and Club Resident, two new DJ mix series expanding its dance music programming. Club Mix features one-off sets from artists including horsegiirL, Miss Kittin, Paloma Le Friant, and Anetha b2b Tatyana Jane, while Club Resident gives The Martinez Brothers and Jazzy ongoing platforms for multiple installments through the summer.

“DJ mixes have always been one of the most important ways artists tell their stories and document a moment in culture”

Two Series, Two Formats

Apple Music has launched Club Mix and Club Resident, two new flagship DJ mix series that expand the platform's dance and electronic music programming. The announcement builds on Apple Music's existing DJ Mix program, which has been clearing and hosting mixes since 2021. The two series cover different territory: Club Mix spotlights one-off sets from artists shaping contemporary club culture, while Club Resident gives select artists an ongoing platform to deliver multiple installments over time.

Four Exclusive Sets Launch Club Mix

Club Mix debuts with four exclusive sets available now. horsegiirL opens the series with Club Mix 001, followed by three mixes recorded as part of Fête de la Musique, the annual French cultural celebration that turns cities into open-air music stages. Those sets come from electroclash pioneer Miss Kittin, rising French selector Paloma Le Friant, and techno duo Anetha b2b Tatyana Jane.

All four mixes are available to stream on demand with an Apple Music subscription. They'll also air for free on Apple Music Club Radio on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM PT, with Miss Kittin and Paloma Le Friant on June 20 and Anetha b2b Tatyana Jane on June 21.

The Martinez Brothers and Jazzy Anchor Residency Program

Apple Music has tapped The Martinez Brothers and Jazzy as the first Club Residents. The New York-bred house duo are deep into another busy Ibiza season, making the timing a natural fit. Irish DJ, producer, and vocalist Jazzy joins off the back of a recent collaboration with Calvin Harris, with more music and a full festival schedule lined up for the summer.

Stephen Campbell, Global Head of Dance, Electronic Music & DJ Mixes at Apple Music, said the series aims to create new platforms for artists to share creative statements while building a lasting archive of dance music culture.

The Martinez Brothers' first Club Resident mix drops June 24, with Jazzy following on July 8. Additional installments from both artists are scheduled through the summer, with The Martinez Brothers' second mix set for July 22.
