A State of Trance is launching its first multi-day, multi-stage festival in North America. Armin van Buuren's trance brand has partnered with Insomniac for a two-day event at Ace*Mission in Los Angeles, scheduled for June 11-12, 2027.
Three stages and an expanded format
The festival will feature three stages covering classic and uplifting trance, psytrance, and melodic techno. Onsite afterparties and a dedicated hotel experience are also planned. According to Insomniac's announcement, van Buuren and the company's founder and CEO, Pasquale Rotella, have spent years developing the concept.
ASOT previously held a single-night event at LA's Banc of California Stadium in April 2022, celebrating its 1,000-episode milestone. The 2027 edition marks a significant expansion of that format into a standalone festival weekend.
Tickets and lineup details
No artists have been announced yet. Ticket pre-registration is open through ASOT's website, with presale beginning Thursday, October 22nd at 10am PT and general sale following at 11am.
Van Buuren outlined his ambitions for the event in a March interview, saying he wanted the U.S. event "to be a home for the trance fans." The festival represents ASOT's most ambitious North American undertaking to date.
