Melodic Progressive House with a Familiar Collaborator
Audien has released a new progressive house single, 'High Hopes,' featuring singer-songwriter Shaun Farrugia. The track arrives July 10 via Enhanced Music and leans into the uplifting, melodic production style Audien has built his career on. Farrugia brings vocal work honed through recent collaborations with Martin Garrix and Alesso on 'Inside Our Hearts,' plus songwriting credits for Mimi Webb, The Script, and Sigala.
"High Hopes is everything I love about progressive house," Audien said. "It has that feeling of hope, connection, and emotion that made me fall in love with dance music in the first place. Working with Shaun was incredible, and the moment this song came together I knew it was something special."
Progressive House Never Died Continues to Draw Crowds
The single ties into Audien's Progressive House Never Died movement, a touring brand he launched in 2022 that has since sold out Brooklyn Mirage, Echostage, and the L.A. Memorial Coliseum. The movement has helped progressive house regain momentum in a landscape where the genre had largely receded from festival main stages.
'High Hopes' follows 'Sacrifice' with Sam Harper, which has crossed 2 million streams and racked up over 11 million TikTok views since dropping earlier this year. Progressive house has remained central to Audien's catalog, from his Anjunabeats and Armada releases through to his 2015 GRAMMY nomination for his remix of Bastille's 'Pompeii.'
Summer Tour Dates and Festival Appearances
Audien plays Lost In Dreams Festival in Los Angeles on July 12, two days after the single drops. From there, he heads to Progressive House Never Died at New City Gas in Montreal on July 19, then brings a flagship edition of the mini-festival series to The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City on August 1.
Recent performances this year include The Sphere in Las Vegas supporting Illenium, EDC Mexico, Miami Music Week, and Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Full tour dates are available at audiendj.com.
