August 2026 Festival Calendar Spans Europe and North America

August 2026 delivers a packed festival calendar across Europe and North America as the final full month of summer brings major events to cities from Transylvania to Massachusetts. The lineup includes established multi-day festivals and regional editions of touring brands, covering house, techno, bass, and crossover electronic music.

UNTOLD and Creamfields Lead European Schedule

UNTOLD Festival returns to Cluj-Napoca, Transylvania, from August 6–9, 2026, for four days across multiple stages. The Main Stage lineup includes Martin Garrix, Kygo, Marshmello, Alan Walker, The Chainsmokers, Sebastian Ingrosso, James Hype, Steve Aoki, Lost Frequencies, Tchami, and Maddix, alongside live acts including Sting, Lewis Capaldi, Flo Rida, Swae Lee, and Zara Larsson. The Galaxy Stage focuses on house and techno with Carl Cox, Solomun, Sara Landry, Mau P, Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, Maceo Plex, Gordo, and MRAK. The Daydreaming Stage features Jan Blomqvist, Major League DJz, Shimza, and WhoMadeWho, while the Alchemy Stage hosts Andy C, Camo & Krooked, Pendulum, Sigma, Gramatik, and Denzel Curry.

Creamfields marks 20 years at Daresbury, Cheshire, from August 27–30, 2026, across the UK Bank Holiday weekend. The four-day lineup features Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix, Tiësto, Swedish House Mafia, Armin van Buuren, Alesso, Dimitri Vegas, Dom Dolla, FISHER, John Summit, CamelPhat, Disclosure, Gorgon City, MK, and Sonny Fodera. Techno, trance, hard dance, and drum & bass acts include Amelie Lens, Eli Brown, Holy Priest, I Hate Models, Ben Nicky, Darren Styles, Andy C, Sigma, and Shy FX. Live electronic performances come from Faithless and Underworld, with additional sets from Maddix, D.O.D, Fatboy Slim, Mauro Picotto, and Paul Oakenfold.

Breakaway Festivals Hit Michigan and Massachusetts

Breakaway Michigan takes place at Belknap Park in Grand Rapids on August 14–15, 2026. FISHER, Subtronics, GIGANTIC NGHTMRE, and Two Friends lead the lineup alongside D.O.D, Dr. Fresch, Wuki, It's Murph, KREAM, and Daniel Allan. The bass-heavy side includes Canabliss, Grabbitz, Know Good, PHRVA, YDG, and Lostboyjay, while Hills, Skilah, and Twinsick bring house and melodic electronic music. Regional support comes from Bluejay, Khoda Leon, Lowke b2b Ronan, MattB, and Riink.

One week later, Breakaway Mass heads to Palladium Indoors & Outdoors in Worcester, Massachusetts, on August 21–22, 2026. Friday is led by Zedd and Gryffin, with It's Murph, INZO, Gardella, Effin, Know Good, Mojave Grey, Steller, Tsu Nami, and Łaszewo also scheduled. Saturday transitions into heavier bass music with Excision, Crankdat, Sullivan King, YDG, and JKYL & HYDE, while Wax Motif, OMNOM, No Thanks, Devault, and Hills bring house and electronic music into the second day. Sullivan King is also listed for a sunset performance, with regional support from Breakbomb, BYEU, and Cowson.

Germany and Finland Round Out European Offerings

Electrisize Festival runs from August 7–9, 2026, at Haus Hohenbusch in Erkelenz, near Düsseldorf, with more than 150 artists scheduled. The lineup includes Alle Farben, Glockenbach, Mesto, Showtek, Coone, Sound Rush, Ran-D, Outsiders, Paul Elstak, The Saints, The Straikerz, and Lost Identity. Hardstyle, rawstyle, and hardcore make up a large part of the programme, with Anderex, Klofama, Onlynumbers, Yoshiko b2b Dr. Z, Sonicz b2b Thryze, and Fuller b2b Van Keeken also scheduled. House, techno, and commercial dance are represented by Arcando, Kreisligalegende, David Puentez, Felix Harrer, Da Hool, and Marc Eggers.

Weekend Festival takes over Vermo Arena in Espoo, Finland, from July 31 to August 1, 2026, with 67 artists appearing across two days.
