Fans Become Official Co-Archivists
Pophouse Entertainment, which purchased a majority stake in the Avicii catalog in 2022, has partnered with his estate to launch Avicii Community, a digital platform that formalizes the work fans have been doing informally for years. The platform invites attendees of Tim Bergling's shows to help verify performance details and build out setlists spanning his touring history through a feature called Shows. The estate is calling participants co-archivists of his legacy.
The platform will eventually allow fans to upload their own photos and videos from concerts they attended before Bergling's death by suicide in 2018.
Unseen Footage and Collaborator Interviews
A section called Archive Stories draws on previously unseen footage to offer a closer look at the creative process behind Avicii's music. Interactive polls let fans share their impressions. Early installments include a recap of the tribute activation at Tomorrowland 2026 and a long-form interview with Nicky Romero, who collaborated with Avicii on the 2012 track I Could Be the One. Romero will revisit archival studio footage alongside Bergling for the first time.
Curated Playlists and Discography Access
The platform features a curated discography spanning Avicii's catalog, from Levels to Wake Me Up. Fans who link their Spotify accounts gain access to exclusive playlists assembled by Bergling's friends and collaborators, as well as collections built around specific eras of his career. The first playlist highlights his Tomorrowland sets from 2012 to 2015.
Avicii Community functions as an extension of the existing Avicii.com and is open for fans to join now.
