Calvin Harris will headline Glasgow's Hampden Park on Saturday, August 1, with the sold-out show broadcast live across BBC One, BBC iPlayer, BBC Radio 1, Radio 1 Dance, and BBC Sounds. BBC Studios Music Productions is handling coverage of the performance.
Homecoming Concert for Scottish Producer
The broadcast, titled Calvin Harris: Live From Scotland, will capture the producer's return to his home country at one of Scotland's largest stadiums. The set is expected to span Harris's career, featuring what the BBC describes as era-defining hits and large-scale production.
Harris said the performance marks a significant personal milestone. "Coming back to Scotland to headline two dates at Hampden Park is a huge moment for me. I'm excited to play live in front of a home crowd and amazing to be partnering with the BBC and Sony Music Vision on the Saturday show," he noted.
Summer Festival Schedule Continues
The Glasgow dates sit within a packed summer calendar for Harris, who maintains residencies in Las Vegas and a double residency at Ushuaïa Ibiza. He is also scheduled to perform at Ultra Europe and Tomorrowland this summer.
