TL;DR

Blade Rave, a touring party modeled on the blood rave scene from the 1998 film Blade, is staging 25 shows across the US and Canada between October 10th and Halloween. The event features techno, house, and industrial music, culminating in a midnight bloodbath that recreates the film's sprinkler scene set to New Order's "Confusion." Organized by Haus of Restless, the format runs as multiple simultaneous productions rather than a single traveling crew.

Tour Hits 25 Venues Through Halloween

The touring party modeled on the opening blood rave scene from the 1998 film Blade is staging 25 shows across the US and Canada between October 10th and Halloween. The stretch hits venues including The Crocodile in Seattle, The Brooklyn Monarch, Nashville's The Basement East, and Bar Le Ritz in Montreal, with seven cities hosting the event on October 30th alone.

Midnight Bloodbath Recreates Iconic Film Moment

Event listings promise DJs spinning techno, house, and industrial electronic music along with go-go dancers, themed cocktails, cosplayers, and custom visuals, all building up to a midnight bloodbath. The finale restages the film's opener, in which sprinklers rain blood on a vampire club as Pump Panel's acid techno remix of New Order's "Confusion" plays overhead.

Suggested attire spans goth, steampunk, and superhero cosplay. Ticket listings also caution anyone in the crowd at midnight: "Blood is washable, but there's always a small chance it may leave a stain."

Format Originated in Dallas

Blade Rave runs as a format rather than a single traveling crew. Organizer Haus of Restless traces the concept to RBC in Dallas' Deep Ellum, where it billed a New Year's Eve 2025 party as its second annual vampire ball. The team has also given Tron a similar treatment.

The tour runs through October 31st, nearly 28 years after the original film's theatrical release.
