TL;DR

Bonnaroo 2026 delivered a high-production festival experience across four days in Tennessee, highlighted by two Skrillex appearances including a surprise set with ISOKNOCK, GRiZ's collaboration with Rainbow Kitten Surprise on "It's Called: Freefall," and extended sunrise sets from Gorgon City and INZO. Despite heavy rain delays on Sunday, the festival maintained strong crowd energy and cohesive programming across electronic genres.

Skrillex Appears Twice, ISOKNOCK Collaboration Ignites Crowd

Thursday opened with Four Tet blending four-on-the-floor rhythms into bass-heavy drops. Skrillex followed with a production-heavy set featuring fire effects, laser displays, and a setlist balancing legacy tracks with remixed fan favorites.

Word of a surprise second Skrillex set spread quickly across the Farm. When he appeared at the Other stage alongside ISOKNOCK (ISOxo and Knock2), the crowd response intensified.

GRiZ Brings Out Rainbow Kitten Surprise for Emotional Peak

Friday saw GRiZ deliver one of the weekend's most emotionally resonant performances. His blend of bass, funk, and live saxophone built to a closing track featuring Ela Melo of Rainbow Kitten Surprise for a live performance of "It's Called: Freefall."

The night continued with sets from EDM.com Class of 2026 duo SIDEPIECE, Cloonee, Ganja White Night, and a sunrise set from INZO.

Rain Amplifies Atmosphere as RÜFÜS DU SOL, Gorgon City Take Over

Saturday opened with Sub Focus on the Other stage, followed by techno artist Sara Landry, a member of the EDM.com Class of 2025, who incorporated Blood Oath-inspired dubstep drops into her set.

Rain arrived mid-evening, adding texture to the lighting design as lasers cut through the mist. RÜFÜS DU SOL delivered a melodic, vocal-driven set with expansive visuals. Chase & Status pushed the energy forward with drum and bass, while Gorgon City's extended sunrise set became a defining moment of the weekend, with visuals stretching into early daylight.

Effin followed with a 5:45-6:30am set balancing electro-soul with trap and dubstep.

Heavy Rain Delays Sunday Sets, Crowd Stays Energized

Sunday brought heavy rains that delayed sets and muddied the grounds. The crowd remained engaged through closing performances from Daily Bread, Big Gigantic, and LSZEE.

Bonnaroo 2026 took place June 12-15 in Manchester, Tennessee. The festival's combination of production scale, sound quality, and community atmosphere carried the weekend through weather shifts.
