TL;DR

Boys Noize has released 7LLVSION, his first solo album since 2021, on his label ONES and ZEROS. The 12-track project features collaborations with Brutalismus 3000, ABRA, TAICHU, and Locked Club, with vocals in English, German, Portuguese, Spanish, and Arabic. The album follows two years of touring with Nine Inch Nails and soundtrack work.

Boys Noize has released 7LLVSION, a 12-track album on ONES and ZEROS, the label he launched in February 2025. The release follows 2021's +/- and arrives after two years of arena tours opening for Nine Inch Nails and soundtrack work including the horror film Replacer, starring Halsey.

The album was previewed with a conversation at the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles on Monday. "What really helped me make this album was just making it for myself, for my sets, because I don't have to rely on anything else," Boys Noize told The FADER. "It's a blessing to think this way, which is how I started making music."

Collaborations Spanning Five Languages

The performance-first approach runs through all 12 tracks, built on distorted drums, squelching basslines and industrial production. Vocals appear in English, German, Portuguese, Spanish and Arabic. The title, pronounced "illusion," names the opening track, where an acid-style bassline builds tension through the low end.

September's lead single '1+1+1' pairs Boys Noize with Rotterdam-based artist ZEP, whose chanted count follows a guest list spiraling out of control. October single 'Nächstenliebe' reunited him with Berlin duo Brutalismus 3000, whose album Harmony he co-produced. A step-sequenced bassline and Dadaist German vocals pay tribute to DAF and their late singer, Gabi Delgado.

Brazilian baile funk takes over on 'Baile DF,' his second collaboration with Brazilian producer Adame DJ after 'Acido,' pairing an acid bassline with Portuguese chants from Thalia Abdon and MC Da França. The track appeared in his DJ sets for months before its July release.

Punk Energy and R&B Detours

'Wake Me Up,' made with Moscow duo Locked Club, whose Irak EP came out on Boysnoize Records in 2019, brings the loudest punk moment on the record. A heavy drum machine kick and cracking snares keep the sound raw while a buzzing bassline slices underneath.

Five years after teaming with ABRA on the 808-driven 'Affection' and co-writing and producing her Playboi Carti collaboration 'Unlock It,' he reunites with her on 'I Need Luv.' Made with Safety Trance, whose track 'Sidewinder' appeared on the label's 2025 compilation, it sets ABRA's stylized, R&B-leaning vocals over a dembow rhythm and deep sub-bass.

Instrumental techno returns on 'Sh5b0mbe,' released with 'HYYTUP' in February. Argentine artist TAICHU and Berlin-based producer Taube join Boys Noize on 'Shut It Down,' where TAICHU's Spanish-language vocals ride a punk-style backbeat. He previewed it at Coachella and Ultra before its May release, and Funk Tribu remixed it in August.

Tour Dates and What's Next

The album closes with 'Sireneh,' an instrumental that first appeared on the compilation. The track channels his signature industrial intensity, pairing driving synthesizers with heavy bass and crisp, aggressive percussion.

Boys Noize plays Ultra Mexico on Saturday and EDC Orlando on Sunday, where he joins Brutalismus 3000 for a back-to-back set. Factory Town in Miami follows on November 14, and he then heads to Asia and Australia, ending at Radar Festival in Brisbane on January 2. The release follows April's Nine Inch Noize, a collaborative album with Nine Inch Nails. Skrillex and Boys Noize teased new Dog Blood music around their Portola reunion in September.
