TL;DR

Breakaway Carolina will expand from three to five stages for its 2026 edition at zMAX Dragway on September 25–26. Tiësto, Chris Lake, and KETTAMA headline the lineup, which also includes a Cloonee b2b Chris Lorenzo set and performances from San Holo, TroyBoi, and several EDM.com Class alumni.

Breakaway Carolina will expand to five stages when it returns to zMAX Dragway at Charlotte Motor Speedway on September 25 and 26, marking the festival's most ambitious layout since its 2017 debut. The touring event is scaling up to meet growing regional demand for electronic music performances.

Tiësto and Chris Lake Lead the Bill

Tiësto, Chris Lake, and KETTAMA headline the 2026 edition. The lineup also features a back-to-back set from house producers Cloonee and Chris Lorenzo, alongside support from San Holo, TroyBoi, What So Not, Cassian, and Daily Bread.

Several EDM.com Class alumni will perform, including Nitepunk from this year's class, Beltran from last year's, Hamdi from the 2024 class, and Westend from the 2023 class.

Capacity Increase Reflects Regional Growth

"The support we've received from fans since launching in Charlotte in 2017 has been incredible," said Jarrod Fucci, President of Breakaway. "Each year we've looked for ways to build on the experience, and 2026 represents the biggest leap forward we've ever taken. We're excited to deliver our largest Breakaway Carolina to date and welcome fans back for another unforgettable weekend this fall."

Presale registration opened June 19, with exclusive ticket access available June 22, one day before the general public on-sale.
