Breakaway, the festival brand known for its electronic music events across the Midwest and Southeast, has announced Salute 250, a country music show scheduled for July 2 at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. The event marks the company's first venture outside electronic dance music in its 13-year history.
Post Malone and HARDY will headline the one-night event, which celebrates America's 250th anniversary and benefits military families through a partnership with Easy Day Foundation. Tickets start at $29, with general on-sale beginning June 3 at 10 AM ET. Presale registration is open now at www.easyday.org/salute250.
Return to the Brand's Founding Venue
Historic Crew Stadium is the same venue where Breakaway Music Festival launched in 2013 and where the brand is hosting Breakaway Ohio this weekend. The location choice adds symbolic weight to what could signal a broader genre expansion for the company, which has built its reputation hosting electronic festivals in Ohio, Michigan, North Carolina, and other markets.
Military Partnership Anchors Patriotic Theme
The Easy Day Foundation partnership directs proceeds toward supporting U.S. troops, veterans, and military families. The organization's involvement aligns the show with the semiquincentennial celebration while adding a charitable component beyond the concert itself.
Salute 250 takes place July 2, 2026, at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus. Whether the event represents a one-time experiment or the beginning of a multi-genre strategy for Breakaway remains to be seen.
