TL;DR

Slovenian producer Brina Knauss has released Take Me Higher, a three-track EP on her own EMPATH label. The vocal-driven release features "No Sacrifice," "Dreams," and the title track, blending hypnotic tension with euphoric peak-time energy. The EP arrives as Knauss embarks on a packed summer touring schedule including Tomorrowland Belgium and multiple Ibiza residencies.

Slovenian producer Brina Knauss has released Take Me Higher, a three-track EP on her own EMPATH imprint. The release pushes deeper into the emotional, vocal-driven territory she's been developing across recent productions and live sets.

Three Tracks, One Thread

The EP opens with "No Sacrifice," a driving, hypnotic cut built on slow-burn tension that mirrors the longer-form approach she brings to her DJ sets. Knauss's own voice has become an increasingly recognizable feature of her productions, and it's front and center here — her vocals woven tightly into the track's groove and atmosphere.

"Dreams" takes a more introspective turn, trading tension for softer melodic layers over a steady, rolling groove that works equally well for late-night clubs or open-air stages. The title track closes the EP on the biggest note — more euphoric and built for peak-time floors, but still anchored to the emotional thread running through all three tracks.

Summer Festival Circuit

The release comes during a heavy stretch of touring for Knauss in 2026. Upcoming dates include Horse Park Festival in Zurich, Lofi Amsterdam, Akumandra Festival in New York, Audioriver Festival in Poland, and Tomorrowland Belgium. On the Ibiza side, she's lined up at Ushuaia, UNVRS, Resistance at Amnesia, and Hi Ibiza — a circuit that puts her on some of the most-watched floors in electronic music right now.

The release follows a run of output on respected labels including ZAMNA, Cercle, ATLANT, and Interstellar, but EMPATH, which Knauss launched as a home for her more personal work, is where this project clearly belongs. Take Me Higher is out now on EMPATH.
