Chase & Status Reunite with IRAH and J Hus on 'Disgruntled'

BRIT Award Winners Return with New Collaboration

Chase & Status have released "Disgruntled," a new drum & bass track featuring rapper J Hus and grime vocalist IRAH. The single reunites the London duo with IRAH, who previously appeared on their 2023 anthem "Baddadan."

The release arrives during a banner year for Chase & Status, who won the BRIT Award for Producer of the Year in February. At the time, the duo reflected on their creative momentum, saying "As producers, and as a creative duo, I think we are probably in one of the best places we've been."

"Disgruntled" leans into the gritty, bass-heavy sound that has defined Chase & Status for more than two decades. J Hus, who earned a BRIT nomination this year for his album Beautiful and Brutal Yard, delivers a fluid cadence over rumbling drums, while IRAH brings the aggressive vocal energy that made "Baddadan" a drum & bass fixture.
