LA State Historic Park Weekend Draws Record Crowd
Chris Lake sold out back-to-back nights at Los Angeles State Historic Park on June 19 and 20, drawing a combined 40,000 fans — his largest standalone headline shows in the city. Presented by Framework and Goldenvoice, the first date sold out in under 15 minutes. Demand pushed organizers to add a second night, which also sold out.
The shows marked Lake's first headline return to LA since 2022. Support came from AYYBO, Ragie Ban, Hot Since 82, and Clüb de Combat. Among those in attendance opening night was three-time Super Bowl champion Travis Kelce, a crossover moment for an artist building an audience beyond the traditional electronic music crowd.
Brooklyn Takeover Adds 15,000 More
The LA weekend capped a month that began with three sold-out nights at Under The K Bridge Park in Brooklyn, June 5-7. Presented by Black Book Records and The Bowery Presents, the series drew more than 15,000 fans — one of Lake's largest headline runs on the East Coast.
In total, Lake moved more than 55,000 tickets across five sold-out headline shows in June 2026, the biggest headline month of his career. His debut album Chemistry has driven a sold-out global tour, and his remix of The Chemical Brothers' "Galvanize" earned him a second GRAMMY nomination. At the 2026 International Dance Music Awards during Miami Music Week, Lake picked up Best Album and Best Remix.
Recent collaborations with Skrillex, Disclosure, and Sammy Virji have kept the producer visible across different corners of the scene, while Black Book Records has grown into one of the more respected independent labels in electronic music.
