Chuck Daniels Relaunches Sampled Detroit with Six-Track Remix Collection

Six Remixes Return to the Dance Floor

Chuck Daniels has relaunched his independent House label Sampled Detroit with a six-track collection titled The Remixes. The release features remastered versions of his most celebrated remixes, including work for Andy Toth & Billy Love, Jr Jr, Jake Childs & Laura Frey, Lupe, Evan Rhodes featuring Clara Grun, and Johnny Fiasco. The collection showcases Daniels' approach to blending soulful musicality with driving grooves and timeless House sensibilities.

Thrillseekers Gets a Fresh Master

The centerpiece of the collection is Daniels' remix of Andy Toth & Billy Love's "Thrillseekers," originally released on Seth Troxler's Play It Say It imprint. The track received support from Eats Everything and Skream, became a fixture on Ibiza dance floors, and earned recognition in Spin Magazine's Top 40 Dance Tracks of All Time. Newly remastered for the label relaunch, it remains one of Daniels' signature productions.

Detroit Heritage and Global Reach

For more than two decades, Chuck Daniels has been an influential figure in Detroit's electronic music community, collaborating with Kevin Saunderson, Carl Craig, and Derrick May. His productions and remixes have appeared on Defected, Planet E, Classic, Ministry of Sound, KMS, Yoruba, and Warner Brothers. Beyond the studio, Daniels has run Sampled, his long-running Movement Festival afterparty, for more than twenty-five years. The next Sampled event takes place at crobar in Cleveland, Ohio on Saturday, August 8th, featuring Harry Romero, Mark Farina, DJ Heather, Chuck Daniels, and Delish b2b Andre Leone.
