The residency treats each match day as a full club event, with DJs and promoter partners curating music tied to the countries competing on screen. Confirmed artists include Claude VonStroke, DJ Minx, Todd Edwards, Pangea Sound, BOLO THE DJ, Blaq Pages, and Ardalan, with additional lineup announcements expected as the summer schedule approaches. Curatorial partners such as Afrobeats To The World, Gasolina, Reggaeton Rave, Haitian Spotlight, and Vibraza Records will bring international fan communities into the venues, linking each event to the teams and music cultures represented in the tournament.

The viewing setup includes giant LED screens for matches, team flags, soccer content, specialty drinks, food trucks, interactive games, and a Niky's Sports retail pop-up. Academy LA's 4,000-square-foot patio adds an outdoor option with cabanas, a movable bar, seating, private restrooms, and its own sound system, giving fans space to move between match viewing and side activations throughout the day.

From Charity Soccer Tournament to Public World Cup Residency

Copa del Rave began in 2019 as a music industry charity soccer tournament in Los Angeles, raising more than $75,000 for charity and featuring appearances from Diplo, The Chainsmokers, Chris Lorenzo, TEED, Kah-Lo, and Karaba. The residency expands that foundation into a public World Cup event while maintaining the charitable focus through a partnership with Common Goal, the organization connected to World Football Giving Day and efforts to improve youth access to soccer worldwide.

The partnership ties the residency back to the community-focused idea that launched Copa del Rave, positioning the series as both a nightlife event and a soccer culture project. With the 2026 World Cup on the horizon, the residency gives Los Angeles a watch party format that connects the tournament calendar with DJs, promoter partners, and charity support without treating matches as standard club screenings.
