TL;DR

Creamfields has announced Runway 2.0, a new stage concept combining the festival's iconic Runway structure with the immersive 360-degree visuals introduced by HALO in 2025. Designed by Lucid Creates, the 20,000-capacity stage features three 15-metre overhead diamond LED screens and LED towers creating seamless visuals throughout the arena. The stage will debut at the festival's 30th anniversary in 2027.

A Hybrid Stage Concept Returns the Runway

The UK festival is bringing back its Runway stage structure after a brief hiatus, merging it with the technology that powered HALO in 2025. HALO replaced Runway last year, introducing 360-degree visuals that surrounded attendees with immersive production. Rather than choose between the two, Creamfields is combining both into a single experience it's calling Runway 2.0.

20,000-Capacity Arena with Overhead LED Screens

Lucid Creates, the production design team that has worked with Creamfields since 2022, designed the new stage to hold 20,000 people. The setup features three 15-metre overhead diamond LED screens suspended above the crowd, paired with LED towers positioned at the arena's edges. The design creates a continuous flow of visuals from the front of the stage to the back and overhead, evolving throughout each artist's set.

Debut Set for 2027 Anniversary

Runway 2.0 will launch at Creamfields' 30th anniversary edition in 2027. The festival continues its annual evolution, responding to fan demand by reviving the Runway structure while integrating newer immersive technology. Tickets for the anniversary event are available now through the festival's website.
