A Festival Circuit Staple Gets Its Official Release

Dimitri Vegas has released 'Woops' on Smash The House, a collaboration with BRANDON and DJ Bountyhunter that's been a fixture in major festival sets over the past year. The track appeared in Charlotte de Witte's closing performance on the kineticFIELD stage at EDC Las Vegas and The Chainsmokers' set on UNTOLD's Mainstage, with additional support from Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, and Anyma.

The song emerged as one of the most-played records at both Ultra and Tomorrowland this year, working equally well in dark clubs and on towering festival stages.

From 1993 Hardcore to Modern Dancefloors

'Woops' originated as a 1993 release by Belgian producer DJ Bountyhunter, a raw and pulsing track from the early hardcore era. Dimitri Vegas and Junkie Kid revived it with a 2024 remix before today's new version, which sharpens the original's industrial textures while preserving its drive.

The release arrives as Dimitri Vegas continues performing solo following Like Mike's announcement in July that he would be stepping away from touring to focus on his health. The Belgian producer is set to close out his summer DJ residency at Ushuaïa Ibiza and perform at Exchange LA and Insomniac's Halloween festival, Escape.
