Medical Break Announced Thursday
Disco Lines announced Thursday that he is stepping away from touring for several weeks to address ongoing health issues. In an Instagram Story, the producer behind chart-topping single "No Broke Boys" said his doctor advised him to take time off the road to recover fully.
"Some of you know I've been dealing with a few health issues recently," he wrote. "After talking to my doctor, I've been advised to take a few weeks away from the road to focus on getting properly back to full health. It's really frustrating, but I know it's the right thing to do."
Three Festival Withdrawals Confirmed
Disco Lines was scheduled to perform Thursday at Electric Forest, where organizers have confirmed it's murph will replace him. He has also pulled out of Kygo's Palm Tree Festival in the Hamptons, with Gryffin stepping in, and Ottawa's Escapade Music Festival. All three festivals confirmed the changes on social media Thursday.
Summer Schedule in Question
The producer has additional festival dates booked this summer, including Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza, VELD, and Outside Lands. It remains unclear how long his medical break will last or whether those performances will proceed.
"I hate letting people down, but I know taking the time now means I'll be back doing what I love as soon as I'm fully fit," Disco Lines added. "Thank you for all your understanding and support. I'll see you all again soon."
