Bass House Built on Brotherhood
DJ Susan and Rich DietZ have reunited for "Mob Life," a swaggering collaboration built on bass and brotherhood. Out now via Hood Politics, the track blends a trunk-thumping bassline with raw hip-hop vocal samples to capture the unmistakable feeling of rolling up to a packed venue alongside your closest friends.
Susan, a member of the EDM.com Class of 2024, said the track channels the tight-knit, unapologetic spirit of his Hood Politics collective. The barnstorming crew recently rampaged through Miami Music Week amid an expansive tour that took them to San Francisco, Denver, Honolulu and even the Bahamas.
Vintage G-House Grit
The "Everything Off (Ante Up)" collaborators pick up right where they left off, delivering a bass house bulldozer oozing with vintage G-House grit. Susan and DietZ balance crisp sound design and underground grit, delivering a pumping and anthemic reminder that house music is always best experienced as a team sport.
Susan added that the track has already cemented itself as a reliable crowd pleaser on tour and is built for packed rooms, late nights and the kind of dancefloor energy that only happens when everyone moves together.
