Drumcode Marks 350th Release with DC4 Compilation

By Matt White

Drumcode has released the fourth edition of its DC4 series, marking the Swedish techno institution's 350th catalog release. The four-track compilation pairs established label artists with fresh faces, including two debut appearances.

Veteran Collaborations Lead the Package

Victor Ruiz and Alex Stein open the EP with "Core," a dramatic techno cut that draws on the Brazilian producers' history of studio work together. Charles D and Weska contribute "Can't Get Enough," featuring vocalist Bexxie on a prog-leaning track built around low-slung grooves and vocal hooks. The duo previously collaborated on "The Answer" for 1001 Recordings last year.

New Names Join the Roster

SCRIPT and OKAYVAL make their Drumcode debuts with "LIKE THAT," a peak-time track centered on rolling percussion and a sharp vocal loop. SCRIPT, an American producer, recently collaborated with Brazilian artist ALOK, while Colombian-born, US-based OKAYVAL has played EDC Vegas and Tomorrowland this year. Martin Costas and Gabriel Gil round out the release with "It's All Around," a progressive cut driven by hypnotic rhythms and melodic textures.

The DC4 series launched in summer 2025 as a vehicle for four-track collaborative releases. The fourth edition is available now.
