dyln Returns with "falling*" After Multi-Year Hiatus

Y2K Trance Meets Modern Melodic Production

dyln has ended a multi-year release hiatus with "falling*," a track that blends nostalgic Y2K trance elements with melodic counter-melodies, melancholic vocals, and lush, atmospheric chords. The single balances emotional depth with dancefloor energy, drawing on the producer's daily listening habits.

"I wanted to bring people into my world. I listen to old trance records pretty much every day, and I just wanted to create a feeling for anyone to get lost in," dyln said.

Ahri and the Visual World

The "falling*" music video introduces Ahri, a 3D character created by artist b0throps. The girl mage with a staff has already gained traction on social media for her eclectic, expressive design. "Ahri is a friend, and a girl who got lost in another world, and she has cats that protect her," dyln explained.

Building Momentum in Asia

dyln has been touring Asia since late 2022, with residencies in China, Thailand, and Japan. He has performed at major nightclubs including Ultra Mix in Guangzhou, Orangutan Bunker in Chengdu, and OGBK in Chongqing. In 2023, he co-founded Teethgold, an electronic and hip-hop influenced nightclub in Chengdu that has hosted events featuring Matt Ox, 88 Rising's Higher Brothers, and other underground acts.
