EDC China Launches Circuit Dreams Edition in Guangzhou

Two Cities, Two Distinct Lineups

When Circuit Dreams debuted at Fuxing Island on October 5, it marked EDC China's first event in Shanghai since 2018. Two stages hosted ILLENIUM, W&W, Dimension, Sara Landry, TroyBoi, Wax Motif, CARTA, 33 Below and Riordan. Across the day, the music ranged from house and UK garage to hard techno, drum and bass and bass music.

The format does not repeat lineups between cities. Guangzhou will feature Alan Walker, R3HAB, Chase & Status, Black Tiger Sex Machine, EMORFIK and J. Worra in the leading slots. OCULA, LE TWINS, JETEGG, ELSSS, PEI and SESCO will also perform. Chase & Status will appear with a DJ set.

Guangzhou New Gateway Music Park Hosts 30,000-Capacity Event

The event will take place at Guangzhou New Gateway Music Park in Baiyun District. The recently developed outdoor venue can accommodate around 30,000 people and hosts large-scale concerts and music events. It will give Circuit Dreams a sizeable outdoor setting for its first edition in Guangzhou while keeping the one-day format introduced in Shanghai.

Bridging Suzhou 2025 and the 2027 Return

Since first launching in Shanghai in 2018, EDC China has brought the wider Electric Daisy Carnival format to several cities across the country. Later editions took place in Guangdong, Zhuhai and Suzhou. The most recent full edition returned to Yang Cheng Lake Resort in Suzhou in March 2025.

The two Circuit Dreams events occupy a clear place between that last full festival and the return planned for 2027. Insomniac has not yet revealed full details for next year, leaving the 2027 edition as the next major announcement after Circuit Dreams wraps in Guangzhou on November 21.
