Insomniac's EDC Thailand returns to Rhythm Park in Laguna Phuket December 18–20 for its third edition, serving as the global finale of the storied brand's 30th anniversary. The lineup features Martin Garrix, Tiësto, Dom Dolla, Kaskade, Subtronics and other headliners, but the event's location is proving as big a draw as the roster itself.
Why Attendees Are Arriving Early
Bangtao Beach offers sunset sessions and chill beach bars where festival energy blends with existing island rhythms. The area around the festival grounds includes daytime activities like canoeing, sailing and paddleboarding on Andaman Sea lagoons. At night, the open-air Boat Avenue strip and Porto de Phuket mall host shopping and night markets.
Arriving two or three days before the festival allows attendees to explore the island and familiarize themselves with the venue rather than flying in, attending the event, and leaving without experiencing the surrounding region.
Local Flavor and Festival Infrastructure
Thai hospitality and local food culture run through the event, giving the production a regional character that distinguishes it from other international EDC editions. Insomniac has built the festival at a location where the natural setting complements the production design.
Tickets are available through Eventpop, Megatix and Front Gate Tickets, with flexible layaway plans offered across all three platforms. The festival takes place mid-December, positioning it as a year-end destination for ravers willing to extend their trip beyond the three-day event window.
