EXIT Festival is bringing its festival model to Egypt for the first time with Starlight Festival Egypt, a four-day electronic music event running October 8–11, 2026, across Cairo and Giza. The main festival nights on October 9 and 10 will take place at a designated area near the Great Pyramids of Giza, with opening and closing events scheduled across selected locations in Cairo. The launch follows two years of preparation and marks another step in EXIT Festival's international expansion after recent recognition at the European Festival Awards, where the promoter took home Promoter of the Year.

Four Days, Five Stages, and a VR Experience

Starlight Festival Egypt will feature more than five stages and zones across its four-day run, alongside an advanced VR experience originally presented at Expo Dubai. The festival is not taking place inside the pyramid complex itself, but at a specially designated area near the Great Pyramids, with the landmark serving as the visual backdrop for the main nights. The full lineup has not been announced yet, though organizers are positioning the artist roster as one of the strongest electronic lineups planned for Egypt. Pre-registration is open now, with official ticket sales launching May 25.

Part of EXIT's 2026 Global Tour

EXIT Festival began in Novi Sad, Serbia, and has built its reputation over years of programming at Petrovaradin Fortress, earning multiple Best Major Festival wins at the European Festival Awards. The Egypt launch is part of EXIT Festival's 2026 Global Tour, a multi-country expansion announced after the festival's future in Serbia became politically uncertain. The event is being developed with P+US, the electronic music platform from Venture Lifestyle, pairing EXIT's European festival experience with a local production partner already connected to large-scale electronic events in Egypt.
