Franky Rizardo has withdrawn his remix of "Missing" by Everything But The Girl from release, citing the ongoing public dispute between John Summit and Pete Tong. In a statement shared on X, Rizardo said that after learning more about the background surrounding the release, it no longer felt right for him to be part of it. The remix will remain a set-only track for now.

He described the remix as a record he is incredibly proud of, noting he made it in the car on the way to a show and was excited when he was given the opportunity to release it. Despite that personal connection to the track, he said staying true to his values matters more than releasing a record, and that once he learned more about the context surrounding the situation, continuing with the release no longer felt like the right call. He wished all parties involved the best and said he hopes everything gets resolved, adding that he believes everyone acted with the best intentions.
