TL;DR

Fred again.. is confirmed to appear on the GTA 6 soundtrack alongside Travis Scott, PinkPantheress, Keith Richards, and six other artists. Rockstar Games coordinated Instagram posts from all ten artists this week, marking the first official soundtrack confirmation since the game's Extended Look trailer featured tracks from Elderbrook, Bob Moses, Aluna, and Jayda G. The game launches November 19, 2026.

Rockstar Games confirmed this week that Fred again.. will appear on the GTA 6 soundtrack, orchestrating a coordinated wave of Instagram posts from the British producer and nine other major recording artists. The announcement marks the first official confirmation of the game's music roster since the company aired its 26-minute Extended Look trailer earlier this year.

Ten artists revealed in coordinated social rollout

The reveal includes Keith Richards, Travis Scott, PinkPantheress, Future, Morgan Wallen, Rauw Alejandro, CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, Yung Lean, and Metro Boomin. Each artist shared a cropped screenshot from GTA 6 alongside their announcement, though the images appear unrelated to one another. Fred again.. and PinkPantheress each posted an image of a yacht, while Travis Scott shared a high heel balanced on a pole and Future opted for a sports car.

The drip-fed promotion fits a familiar pattern for Take-Two Interactive, the publisher that owns the Rockstar studio and Grand Theft Auto. Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick told investors earlier this year that the company planned to lean harder into social media for this release, breaking from how it marketed past entries in the franchise.

Timing points to possible gameplay trailer

Take-Two is hosting a webcast of its annual shareholder meeting on September 17, and fans have spent recent weeks speculating that a third, gameplay-heavy trailer could land around the same window. That would follow a similar pattern used by Rockstar with GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 of dropping a final trailer roughly 10 to 11 weeks before launch.

The Extended Look trailer featured tracks from dance music artists Elderbrook, Bob Moses, Aluna, and Jayda G. After 13 years, GTA 6 is set to arrive on November 19, 2026. The game reportedly raked in more than $3 billion from pre-orders in just one week.
