Ten years after Tim Bergling walked off stage at Ushuaïa Ibiza, the complete footage from his final DJ set as Avicii has been made available to the public. Pophouse, the Swedish music investment firm managing Bergling's legacy in partnership with his estate, released the previously unseen performance through the online Avicii Community platform.
Uninterrupted Stage Perspective
The full August 28, 2016 performance was captured by a GoPro mounted to the stage, tracking Bergling from the opening track to the final song. The continuous, unedited footage offers fans a view from behind the decks rather than the curated segments featured in the 2024 Netflix documentary Avicii – My Last Show.
According to Pophouse, this marks the first time a complete Avicii set has been officially released to the public.
Community Archive Expands
The release coincides with an update to the Avicii Community's 'Shows' feature. The platform now includes a fan gallery where attendees can upload their own photos and videos from Bergling's performances, creating a crowdsourced visual archive of his touring years.
Bergling had written a letter to fans ahead of the Ushuaïa show announcing his retirement from touring, according to his estate. He died by suicide in 2018 at the age of 28, following years of grueling tour schedules, physical exhaustion and mental health issues.
