Galactixx Remixes Frontliner's "Discorecord" for 15th Anniversary

First Official Remix After 15 Years

Galactixx has delivered the first official remix of Frontliner's hardstyle classic "Discorecord", marking 15 years since the original release. The track has remained a staple across hardstyle sets for over a decade, its euphoric energy and dancefloor impact keeping it relevant long after its initial release.

The remix was originally created for the Defqon.1 2026 Saturday Endshow, produced in collaboration between Scantraxx and Q-dance. This year's festival was cancelled due to code red extreme heat conditions, leaving thousands of fans unable to attend. Rather than scrap the Endshow entirely, it was staged on the empty festival grounds as a tribute to everyone who never got to be there, complete with fireworks, lighting, and the world premiere of this remix filmed in its entirety.

Galactixx's Approach to the Classic

At 30 years old, Galactixx has built a reputation as one of hardstyle's most complete artists, capable of producing across the full spectrum from euphoric to raw while maintaining his own distinct sound. He has performed at Defqon.1, Decibel Outdoor, Intents Festival, and Parookaville, and has collaborated with Ran-D, B-Front, and Brennan Heart.

On this remix, he keeps the emotion of the original firmly intact while adding his uplifting melodic style on top, bringing "Discorecord" to a new generation of fans without letting go of what made it a classic in the first place.
