Italian producers Giuseppe Ottaviani and Hypaton have released "Soundboy," a big room track built for festival main stages. The collaboration carries family ties: Hypaton, who launched his production career in 2015, is Ottaviani's cousin and credits the veteran DJ as a key influence on his decision to enter electronic music production.
Festival Testing and Live Debuts
Ottaviani, known for his OTTAGON live performances, has been testing "Soundboy" at several high-profile events this year. The track made appearances at A State of Trance in Rotterdam, Dreamstate SoCal, Dance Valley, and ASOT at Legia Stadium in Poland. The run gave the producers crowd feedback from some of the circuit's most devoted trance audiences.
Armin van Buuren Co-Sign
Armin van Buuren has championed the track on his A State of Trance radio show, featuring it in episodes 1295 and 1296. He also dropped "Soundboy" during a live set in Gothenburg, lending additional exposure within the trance community.
Hypaton previously gained attention for his rework of La Bouche's "Be My Lover" featuring David Guetta. "Soundboy" is out now.
