Reunion with Poppy Baskcomb
Gorgon City have released a new single, "Work It Out," via their own REALM Records. The track reunites the duo with vocalist Poppy Baskcomb, who previously collaborated with them on "Landslide," a standout from their Reverie album.
UK House in Their Signature Lane
The new single channels the escapist, dancefloor-driven euphoria of Reverie, which dropped in the summer of 2024. Gorgon City have spent over a decade refining a specific strain of UK house, and "Work It Out" finds them operating comfortably inside that lane. The track features a galloping bassline and drums that propel with the pulse of a heartbeat that's had too much espresso.
Fresh from Bonnaroo
The release follows a sunrise set at Bonnaroo, where the duo performed earlier this month. "Work It Out" is now available on streaming platforms.
