GRiZ has released "Sunshine," a track fans have been requesting since its live debut at Triple Rainbow, the camping festival he hosted in Wisconsin in September 2022. The song blends dubstep energy with his signature saxophone-driven funk sound.
From Festival Exclusive to Official Release
After its 2022 premiere, "Sunshine" appeared throughout GRiZ's 2026 festival sets, including performances at EDC Mexico, Bonnaroo, and the Gorge Amphitheatre. The track features a vocal hook—"I'll be your sunshine"—layered over shimmering synth stabs and soulful sax riffs before dropping into an adrenalized bassline that carries the uplifting melody.
A Busy Year for GRiZ
The release arrives during a packed stretch for the producer, who returned from an indefinite hiatus announced in June 2023. Since coming back, he launched his own festival, Seven Stars, and dropped his Future Funk Vol. 1 album in June.
"Sunshine" is available now on streaming platforms. GRiZ is scheduled to play a doubleheader at Colorado's Red Rocks Amphitheatre in September.
