Gryffin and BUNT. have released their first official collaboration, "World Away," featuring vocals from Inez. The track is out now via 10K Projects and marks the latest single from Gryffin's upcoming fourth studio album, ELEMENTS I, due out this fall.
Eight Years in the Making
The collaboration caps off an eight-year friendship between the two producers. Gryffin was an early champion of BUNT., who opened for him on his Gravity Tour back in 2018 and later joined him on stage for his back-to-back sold-out nights at Red Rocks in 2023. Despite talking about a collaboration for years, this is the first time the two have officially released music together.
"Levi and I have an incredible history that I've always cherished," Gryffin said. "It's marked most heavily in being proud to watch my friend turn into one of the biggest dance acts in the world today. There is no one kinder and more deserving than Levi, and there is no better time for us to celebrate our history together than with this song which we've talked about doing for as long as I can remember. I'm so grateful Inez was the one to deliver on that!"
Three Distinct Styles
Musically, "World Away" blends Gryffin's widescreen melodic production with BUNT.'s electronic sensibility and Inez's soaring vocal performance over lyrics penned by Andrew Tyler. The track builds from intimate verses into a euphoric chorus anchored by the refrain "love will find us anyway," turning the idea of separation into something closer to reassurance than heartbreak.
"Don't get lost in searching for love," Inez said. "Let it all go, and love will find you anyway."
Ten Years of Gryffin
The single arrives as Gryffin marks ten years in the game. ELEMENTS I kicks off the rollout for his fourth album, running alongside his four-part Ten Years Of Music concert series, which continues this fall with stops in New York, Los Angeles, and Colorado. The album features a wide range of collaborators, including Kygo, Khalid, Sasha Alex Sloan, AVELLO, and now BUNT. and Inez.
BUNT. has built his own lane over the years, mixing folk-inspired songwriting with high-energy production. The German producer has racked up a multi-platinum catalog with tracks like "Clouds" and "TRIPPIN'," while pushing into stutter house and deep house territory. Inez first broke through on Peter Fox's "Zukunft Pink," which has racked up over 150 million streams, and has since worked with Solomun, John Summit, and Subtronics. She also performs as one half of the avant-pop duo ATNA.
"World Away" is available now on all platforms. Gryffin and BUNT. both have packed touring schedules this year, with overlapping stops at Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas and North Coast Music Festival in Bridgeview, Illinois come September. Gryffin will also return to Red Rocks in November, while BUNT. heads overseas for a run of dates across Germany, Switzerland, and Australia through the fall.
