TL;DR

Elderbrook and Bob Moses' 2021 track "Inner Light" has seen over 1,000% increase in Spotify streams following its placement in the extended GTA VI trailer. The song played during the closing portion of Rockstar's Vice City montage, one of 15 tracks featured in the highly anticipated game set to release November 19th.

Trailer Placement Revives 2021 Collaboration

The extended GTA VI trailer has sent streams of Elderbrook and Bob Moses' "Inner Light" soaring by over 1,000% on Spotify. Originally released in July 2021, the track played during the closing portion of Rockstar Games' Vice City montage, granting it a cinematic spotlight that has reignited interest five years after its debut.

"Inner Light" was far from the only song to benefit from the exposure. All 15 tracks featured in the trailer have since been compiled into Spotify playlists where fans can revisit the full soundtrack.

What Elderbrook and Bob Moses Have Been Up To

The renewed attention arrives during a busy year for Elderbrook, who has already released several new singles throughout 2026, including "Falling" with Shimza, "Lost In The Woods" with Adriatique, and most recently "Is It Over Now?" amidst a global performance schedule.

Bob Moses has similarly remained active, with the duo's latest project BLINK receiving a deluxe edition in July. The expanded release contains 14 tracks and collaborations with CRi and Notre Dame.

Pre-Launch Numbers

Months before its November 19th release, recent Sensor Tower estimates reveal nearly 4.93 million units sold and $482 million revenue for the blockbuster game. Pre-orders officially opened on June 25th with Rockstar offering a $79.99 Standard Edition and a $99.99 Ultimate Edition. Online estimates suggest that around 90% of total pre-orders have gone toward the pricier Ultimate Edition.

The game's momentum is poised to launch any media associated with its release into the public eye, further cementing the power of sync placements in major gaming franchises.
