Hotel EDC Phuket Launches with Beachfront Pre-Party Dec. 17

Beach Party Opens the Weekend

The official pre-party for EDC Thailand 2026 takes place December 17 at XANA, a club inside the beachfront Angsana Laguna Phuket resort. Mau P and Loco Dice headline the house-focused lineup, joined by Fifi and Baggi alongside a roster of local DJs. The Thursday night event includes a buffet and sets the tone for the festival, which Insomniac is calling the global finale of its 30th anniversary year.

Hotel EDC Thailand returns for its second year at Angsana Laguna Phuket with a full resort takeover. Guests receive themed suites, daily beach parties from December 18-20, pop-up DJ sets around the property, and a dedicated entry line at the festival gates. The package also includes resort credits, spa and dining discounts, and free shuttle service to Rhythm Park.

Six Stages and a Doubled Footprint

The festival runs December 18-20 at Rhythm Park with a lineup that includes Martin Garrix, Tiësto, DJ Snake, Kaskade, Charlotte de Witte, Dom Dolla, Above & Beyond, and Andy C. Green Velvet and Steve Angello will perform a back-to-back set, with CamelPhat, Miss Monique, Subtronics, and SOFI TUKKER also on the bill.

Six stages will anchor the festival this year. A new stage, neonGARDEN, curated by Factory 93, focuses on house and techno. circuitGROUNDS hosts a Friday takeover from Bassrush Experience, and BOOMBOX is reserved for emerging Asian artists. A new SkyDeck area offers premium views of kineticFIELD with hospitality perks. Organizers say the festival grounds have roughly doubled in size, with new additions like Downtown EDC—featuring a Kandi Casino and Thai karaoke pods—and Binary Beach, a quieter space for rest and connection.

EDC Thailand 2026 marks the third edition of the festival in Phuket. Tickets are on sale now through Eventpop, Megatix, and Front Gate Tickets, with layaway plans available. More artists and Phuket Takeover Week events are expected to be announced soon.
