TL;DR

ISOxo has released his sophomore album HARDCORE DIVA, blending trap, digicore, electropunk and hard-dance three years after his debut kidsgonemad!. The album features collaborations with Madeon, Knock2, Syzy, Nitepunk, Control Freak and kuru across tracks like "CANTSEETHESUN," which has been supported in Skrillex live sets, and the closing "FUN."

ISOxo has released HARDCORE DIVA, a sophomore album that careens between trap, digicore, electropunk and hard-dance. The project arrives three years after his debut solo album kidsgonemad!

Madeon and Skrillex-supported standouts

The album features Madeon on "MOLLY TALK," a trap anthem built around aching lyricism and a piercing drop. "CANTSEETHESUN" delivers a synth-soaked breakbeat that has appeared in Skrillex live sets throughout the year, its propulsive rhythm evoking a culture glued to screens.

Collaborations with Syzy, Knock2 and Nitepunk

ISO teams up with Syzy and hyperpop artist kuru on "SSKY," exploring social dynamics through flexing and bravado undercut by the hunger to outrun expectations. On "KILLZ," Control Freak joins for a hybrid trap throwback packed with booming 808s and wailing synths that accelerate into hard-dance.

The closing track "FUN" unites ISO with his ISOKNOCK partner Knock2 and Nitepunk, sending distorted bass through a screeching trap banger. ISO's production leans into bitcrushed synths and punishing 808s, a contrarian approach he described in a 2023 interview: "Something that I've learned, and it's a lot easier said than done, is that trying to create without any limitations in the back of my mind is what I feel yields the best outcome."

HARDCORE DIVA is out now on streaming platforms.
