Confusion Over Set Length Sparks Complaints

Some fans had anticipated a full three-hour set from the American DJ. When the music stopped earlier than planned, frustration spread online, with complaints focusing on the missing set time and the absence of any in-venue explanation.

Artist Questions Promoter's Schedule Communication

Summit later responded in a Reddit discussion, saying the show had already been the longest of his current tour. He explained that he went straight to the airport afterward, with his next performance scheduled for the following night in Rio de Janeiro. The DJ argued that the promoter should have booked another artist if they wanted the event to continue later. The confusion centered on whether the advertised 6:00 AM end time applied to Summit's individual set or the overall event. Public listings show the night continuing through 6:00 AM, but do not confirm Summit personally agreed to perform until then. LP Giobbi and Najles also appeared on the lineup.

Touring Pressure and Online Abuse

Summit addressed the situation again on Instagram, speaking more openly about the pressure of touring. He wrote about constant flights, limited sleep, and long periods away from home, adding that those factors can affect his mental health despite how glamorous touring may appear online. When addressing the Argentina reaction, Summit thanked those who came for the music before turning to the abuse he said he received afterward. According to his post, some people sent messages telling him to kill himself after he played 2 hours and 20 minutes instead of three hours. Summit stated that two hours is the standard length of his show.

The September 12 Buenos Aires date fell during four consecutive Latin American performances. Summit played Bogotá on September 10, São Paulo on September 11, Buenos Aires on September 12, and Rio de Janeiro on September 13. The promoter has not publicly clarified Summit's individual set time, leaving the gap between audience expectations and the artist's account unresolved.
