Kaskade and Crankdat Release Dubstep Collaboration 'A Little Bit'

From Coachella Debut to Official Release

Kaskade and Crankdat have officially released 'A Little Bit,' a dubstep collaboration that first surfaced in April when Kaskade brought the Ohio producer onstage during his Coachella set at the Sahara stage. "We got Kaskade making dubstep before GTA6," Crankdat quipped into the mic as he walked out.

A Full-Circle Collaboration

For Crankdat, the partnership represents a career milestone. The producer, named among EDM.com's best producers of 2025, previously shared that he grew up shoveling his driveway to Kaskade's 'I Remember.' Now he's sharing a record with the artist who first pulled him into electronic music.

Kaskade tells EDM.com that the collaboration reflects his ongoing approach to music-making. "My entire career has been about pulling influence from the ether, what's happening around me and in the world," he says. "Right now, Crankdat is exactly that. I was really excited to see what would happen when our worlds collided, and I couldn't be more excited to keep watching people's confused but happy minds be blown on the dancefloor when they hear our collab."

Sweet Vocals Meet Heavy Bass

The track opens with vocals exploring new infatuation, layered over saccharine synths that build toward a peak before dropping into Crankdat's signature dubstep barrage. The contrast between melodic sweetness and heavy bass defines the collaboration, with both producers leaning into the whiplash.

'A Little Bit' is part of ORIGIN //, the album Kaskade announced from the Sahara stage at Coachella. The single is available now on streaming platforms.
