TL;DR

Kaskade and Wooli have released "Hear Me Now," a melodic bass collaboration featuring vocalist MAXINE via Arkade. The track is part of Kaskade's ORIGIN// album rollout and precedes the duo's first-ever b2b set at Pacha New York on September 3.

“My heart is where my head should be / The dissonance is killing me / Is loving you a waste of time / Is every song a memory”

Kaskade and Wooli have released "Hear Me Now," a melodic bass track featuring Dutch singer-songwriter MAXINE. Out now via Kaskade's Arkade imprint, the single marks another step into bass territory for the eight-time Grammy-nominated producer.

Building on Kaskade's bass pivot

The track continues a creative arc that began with "A Little Bit," Kaskade's dubstep debut alongside Crankdat. Wooli's heavy-hitting production weaves through his signature melodic flourishes, creating a collision of styles anchored by MAXINE's emotive vocals. Her lyrics reach across distance with lines like "My heart is where my head should be / The dissonance is killing me / Is loving you a waste of time / Is every song a memory."

Part of the ORIGIN// rollout

The single arrives ahead of ORIGIN//, Kaskade's forthcoming album announced during his return to Coachella this spring. The rollout has featured a string of collaborations, each introducing a different approach to his sound, including the official EDC Las Vegas anthem "Meet Again" with Layton Giordani and Natalie Jane. "Hear Me Now" pushes that exploration deeper into bass while maintaining the evocative storytelling at the center of his catalog.

First-ever b2b set at Pacha New York

Kaskade is taking the album on the road this fall with stops in Miami, Santa Monica, Austin and Brooklyn. New York native Wooli will join him at Pacha for a co-headline show on September 3, when each will play a solo set before closing the night with their first-ever b2b. The pairing comes full circle after Wooli closed out his EDC Las Vegas set this year with his remix of "Meet Again."

"Hear Me Now" is available now on streaming platforms.
