Leandro Da Silva Releases 'Oye Manita' with Haxhia

From Emotional Roots to the Club

Da Silva told EDM.com the track started "from a very emotional place before it became a club record," noting that the source material speaks to "identity, sisterhood and resilience." The producer explained his approach was deliberate: "The challenge was not just making a remix or a 'tech house version.' I wanted to keep the soul of the original alive while translating that energy into something that could work in clubs around the world."

Road-Tested Across Continents

Between Miami and Ibiza this spring, Da Silva noticed consistent crowd response when he dropped the unreleased ID into his sets. "People may not know the original song, but they still feel connected to it," he said. The track moved through the first phase of his world tour, hitting venues across the US, Canada, Mexico, Italy, and Spain.

Triple Nomination at Italian Dance Music Awards

The release coincides with three nominations at this year's Italian Dance Music Awards. Da Silva is up for Best House DJ/Producer, Best Radio Show for his m2o Radio program 'In Da Silva House,' and Independent Label of the Year for Black Lizard. "It represents different sides of the work I've been building over the years," he said. "It's not only about being recognized as a DJ or producer, but also for the bigger vision around everything I do."
