TL;DR

Levity will attempt to break the North American concert laser record at Snow Day 3, scheduled for January 29–30, 2027 at Navy Pier's Festival Hall in Chicago. The production introduces an octopus-inspired stage concept called the Octobot, designed to surpass the trio's previous benchmark of 330 lasers set at Snow Day 2 in February 2026.

Levity will attempt to break the North American concert laser record at Snow Day 3, taking place January 29–30, 2027 at Navy Pier's Festival Hall in Chicago. The production centers on a new octopus-inspired stage concept called the Octobot, with lasers positioned across mechanical limbs designed to surpass the trio's previous benchmark of 330 lasers set at Snow Day 2.

From Lasership to Octobot

The record attempt follows a year in which Levity has built laser-focused productions around their headline sets. Their Lasership concept debuted at Mission Ballroom in Denver with a 360° setup, then returned to Chicago for Snow Day 2 at Wintrust Arena in February 2026, where the production expanded to 330 lasers and claimed the North American concert record.

For Snow Day 3, Levity has abandoned the Lasership design in favor of the Octobot, a giant robotic octopus with lasers extending across its mechanical limbs. Navy Pier's Festival Hall provides roughly 170,000 square feet of space for the stage design. The trio will perform a different Octobot set each night, with a secret back-to-back guest, additional support, and an expanded sound system across the weekend.

Expanding the Snow Day Series

Since launching at Radius Chicago in January 2025, Snow Day has grown significantly with each edition. The original show ran one night before Snow Day 2 moved to Wintrust Arena and introduced the 330-laser Lasership. The 2027 edition marks the first time the event will span two nights.

Before Snow Day 3, Levity will debut another production concept called Levi-Rocks Year 1: The Volcano at their first Red Rocks Amphitheatre headline show on October 2, 2026. The Colorado date will feature a separate stage design from both the Lasership and the Octobot, adding another large-scale show to their calendar before the Chicago return.

Snow Day 3: The Octobot takes place January 29–30, 2027 at Navy Pier's Festival Hall in Chicago.
