The French producer approached the project by building the track from sounds pulled out of his earliest FL Studio projects, then wrote and added a verse drawn from his own memories. The creative choices land particularly effectively because of what the song is about. Ninajirachi's 'iPod Touch,' from the breakout producer's debut album I Love My Computer, is her personal account of finding a song online at 12 and guarding it like a secret, down to the cracked screen and the late nights teaching herself software. In a Bandcamp Daily feature last year, she identified the track as Madeon's iconic 'Pop Culture,' the 39-song mashup he built in FL Studio as a teenager and posted in 2011.
